Another aftershock hits Surigao del Norte — Phivolcs
MANILA, Philippines – The province of Surigao del Norte was hit by another aftershock on Sunday before noon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The Phivolcs noted that the second aftershock from the 5.9 quake last Friday hit the town of General Luna at 11:06 a.m. It had a magnitude of 4.7.

The tremor was felt in General Luna at Intensity IV, while the Surigao City felt it at Intensity II.
No damage and aftershocks were expected from the recent quake. It had a depth of focus of 7 kilometers and was of tectonic origin.
