MANILA, Philippines — The guardian of an Ateneo junior high school student, who was mauled by his  schoolmate, has reported the incident to police.

The student was accompanied by his guardian when he went to the Anonas Police Station, or Station 9, of the Quezon City Police District to lodge a report, according to the station’s Women and Children’s Protection Desk (WCPD).

The filing took place two days after a video showing a taekwondo blackbelter punching and kicking his schoolmate at the Ateneo de Manila went viral on social media.
