CABANATUAN CITY – Three suspected drug dealers were killed in separate police operations in Nueva Ecija on Thursday, All Saints’ Day.

At 4 a.m., Jericho Escuadro and a suspect identified only as “Matthew,” were killed in a clash with undercover policemen at P. Cruz Subdivision in Barangay (village) Mangino in Gapan City, police said.

The two suspects, who were residents of Cabanatuan City, possessed several sachets filled with dried marijuana leaves, said Supt. Peter Madria, Gapan police chief.

At 9 p.m., Zoilo de Guzman shot at policemen after selling a sachet containing shabu (crystal meth) to an undercover agent in Barangay Abar First in San Jose City. He was killed when the police retaliated. ARMAND GALANG
