Poe, Ejercito, Lapid named NPC senatorial bets in 2019

Senators Grace Poe and JV Ejercito, and former Senator Lito Lapid are now Senate bets of the Nationalist People’s Coalition’s (NPC) for the 2019 polls.

Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, NPC senior council leader said the three  are “100 percent” assured of inclusion in the party’s senatorial slate.

Ejercito just took his oath as new NPC member this Wednesday while Lapid  took his oath last week.

Sotto said Poe, on the other hand, has been considered an “honorary member” of the NPC.

“So Grace Poe,  JV Ejercito, Lito Lapid,” Sotto told reporters after administering Ejercito’s oath at his office in the Senate.  /muf
