Teen found dead in Laguna
SAN PEDRO CITY— A 14-year-old girl was found dead in Alaminos town in Laguna province early on Sunday.
Supt. Chitadel Gaoiran, spokesperson of the Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon police, said in a text message that the victim, whose name was withheld, was possibly raped.
Circumstances that led to the assault were not immediately disclosed, although Gaoiran said the body was recovered in a vacant lot in Barangay San Gregorio past midnight on Sunday.
The victim was a Grade 9 student, according to Gaoiran. Investigation is ongoing. /ee
