Laguna drug suspect dead in buy-bust
SAN PEDRO CITY – An illegal drug suspect was killed in a police operation on Tuesday in Calamba City in Laguna province, the police said on Wednesday.
Aries dela Cruz, was included in the police list for illegal drugs, said regional police spokesperson Supt. Chitadel Gaoiran in a report.
Dela Cruz sold a sachet of suspected shabu (crystal meth) to an undercover police in Barangay Looc, around 9 p.m. Tuesday, the report said.

The police said dela Cruz must have sensed police presence because he suddenly opened fire during the transaction.
The police said they were forced to return fire. Dela Cruz reportedly died on the spot. MARICAR CINCO
