‘Salvage’ victim found in Quezon
LUCENA CITY – Police are investigating the possible “salvage” or summary execution of an unidentified man found in Calauag town in Quezon province Wednesday morning.
A spot report from the Quezon police headquarters said the victim’s hands were tied at his back. He also had a bullet wound in his head when found around 8 a.m. on a road in Barangay Lungib about 100 meters away from the Maharlika Highway.
The report said the victim’s head was wrapped with a blue shirt and plastic bag.
Police are investigating to find out the victim’s identity and his killers. DELFIN T. MALLARI JR.
