Angara vows to continue pushing for pro-people programs
Coming in sixth place in the recent 2019 senatorial pre-election poll, Senator Sonny Angara on Saturday vowed to boost efforts in pushing for more programs to benefit the Filipino people.
“Ako po ay lubos na nagpapasalamat sa patuloy na pagtitiwala sa akin ng ating mga kababayan,” he said in a statement.
In a recent nationwide pre-election survey of the Pulse Asia, Angara garnered 37.1 percent of voter preference.

The senator promised to increase efforts in pushing for free quality education, healthcare, good-paying job opportunities for Filipinos and support for senior citizens.

The Sept. 1-7 survey used face-to-face interviews with 1,800 registered voters as respondents. /jpv
