2 pushers in drugs watch list nabbed in Lucena City

LUCENA CITY – Police arrested two drug peddlers, both included in the drugs watch list, in separate operations early Tuesday, police said.

Anti-illegal drugs operatives armed with a search warrant busted Louie Abayle in Barangay 4 around 5 a.m., said a report from Supt. Romulo Albacea, Lucena police chief.

Authorities seized nine sachets of crystal meth or shabu with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P3,145 and drug paraphernalia from the suspect.

An hour later, the same drug enforcement unit with another search warrant collared Moises Tenorio in the same village.

Tenorio yielded six sachets of shabu with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P1,239.

Both suspects were detained at the city police jail.
