‘Kalokohan’ – Trillanes on Duterte amnesty revocation
“Ito’y isang malaking kalokohan.”
This was how Senator Antonio Trillanes IV described on Tuesday President Rodrigo Duterte’s decision to revoke the amnesty granted to him during the time of the Aquino administration.

Trillanes also called the President’s order “stupid.”
Contrary to the President’s order, Trillanes said he had complied with all the requirements to avail of amnesty.
“It’s a clear case of political persecution kasi wala silang mahanap na kaso sa akin kaya kelangang mag imbento,” he told reporters.
The senator neverthelesss expressed readiness to face arrest.
“I will not resist arrest. I will not escape,” he added. /cbb
