Domestic flights cancelled due to monsoon rain – Miaa

Due to heavy monsoon rain, airport authorities announced the cancellation of flights to and from Batanes on Monday.

The Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) said the following CebGo and Skyjet Manila-Batanes-Manila flights were cancelled amid the persistent inclement weather:

The state weather bureau said parts of the country would experience rain brought by the southwest monsoon, which has been enhanced by Typhoon “Domeng,”

Domeng has left the Philippine area of responsibility on Sunday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said, but would still dump rain in various parts of the country.      /kga
