2 bullet-riddled bodies found in Santiago City
SANTIAGO CITY – The remains of two bullet-riddled men were discovered on Tuesday afternoon (May 29) in San Isidro village in this city in Isabela province, police said.
Ernesto Mabalot, 70, a cattle trader, and an unidentified young man in his 20s, may have been killed during a robbery, said Chief Inspector Reynaldo Maggay, head of the Santiago police station 2.
Investigators said two suspects were earlier seen flagging down the victims, who were driving through San Isidro to buy cows. The two men were shot with handguns. VILLAMOR VISAYA JR.
