Management of the Light Rail Transit line 2 (LRT-2) has implemented a provisional service on its route as its system encountered a “catenary wire problem.”

In an advisory, the LRT-2 management said they were forced to implement the provisional service as of 11:57 a.m. Tuesday. The LRT-2 only operates from Santolan Station to Araneta Center-Cubao Station, as of this posting.
ADVISORY: LRT-2 is implementing provisionary service due to a catenary problem between J.Ruiz and V. Mapa stations. Service available from Santolan to Cubao and vice versa only. Intervention is ongoing. We will give further updates later. Sorry for the inconvenience.

It noted that the obstruction was located between J. Ruiz and V. Mapa stations of LRT-2.
Efforts to fix the problem are underway, according to the LRT-2 management. /kga
