Duterte attends granddaughter’s senior high school graduation

President Rodrigo Duterte attended the senior high school graduation of his granddaughter Isabelle Lovelie Duterte at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) on Thursday.

Isabelle, who was among  the first batch of senior high school graduates, finished human and social sciences (HUMSS) from San Beda College Alabang.

Aside from the President, Isabelle’s parents – resigned Davao City vice mayor Paolo Duterte and Lovelie Sangkola-Sumera – were present during the ceremony.

In a video shared by the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO), Isabelle hugged and kissed the President after receiving her diploma on stage.

Duterte, who is also an alumnus of San Beda University in Manila, greeted allowed the crowd  to take ‘selfies’ with him after the ceremony.

Isabelle became controversial this year after the extravagant pre-debut pictorial at Malacañang and her lavish debut at the Peninsula in Makati City. /ee
