Quake rocks Eastern Samar
A magnitude 4 earthquake struck Eastern Samar Wednesday noon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
A Phivolcs report said the quake was recorded at 12:06 p.m. east of San Policarpo, Eastern Samar.

It was felt at Intensity I in Catbalogan City, Phivolcs said.
There were no damages reported and aftershocks will not be expected, Phivolcs said.
The tremor had a depth of 7 kilometers and was tectonic in origin, the agency added. /cbb
