MANILA, Philippines—A male Chinese-Filipino and his housemaid were found dead early Monday in their residence in Olongapo City, police said.

Olongapo City police Senior Superintendent Cristopher Tambungan said that at around 3 a.m., the body of Leon Ong Tan, 50, was found dead in his bedroom, while his helper, identified as Lanie Guerrero, was also found lifeless at the maid’s quarters in Tan’s house on 46 18th street E.B.B., Olongapo City.

Tambungan said that the incident was reported to barangay (village) officials by three other stay-in workers named Jemar and Randy Dolero, and Emmanuel Quejome.
