10 hurt in Tagaytay bus-jeep collision
SAN PEDRO CITY-Ten people were hurt in an accident involving a passenger jeepney and a DLTB bus in Tagaytay City, Cavite province on Wednesday morning.
The accident happened around 10 a.m. along Aguinaldo Highway in Barangay Neogan, Supt. Elmer Decena, Tagaytay City police chief, said.
Both vehicles came from Nasugbu, Batangas when the jeepney in front of the bus suddenly stopped to let a passenger disembark, according to a police report.
As a result, the bus hit the jeepney’s rear, injuring 10 people onboard.
The victims were brought to the Ospital ng Tagaytay for treatment.
Decena identified the jeepney driver as Louie Manalo and the bus driver as Teodoro Merjan. Both were placed under investigation.
