LUCENA CITY – A Bicol-bound cargo truck loaded with bags of cement accidentally fell into a 20-feet deep ravine along Quirino Highway in Tagkawayan town in Quezon province Saturday afternoon, Chief Insp. Dandy Aguilar, the municipal police chief, reported on Sunday.

Aguilar said the driver lost control of the truck trailer loaded with 1,026 bags of cement at a descending curve of the highway in Barangay Sta. Cecilia around 2:30 p.m.

The wayward vehicle hit an electric post before falling straight off the cliff.
