6th Manila Pavilion fire victim dies

Another employee of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (Pagcor) died from injuries suffered from the Manila Pavilion fire last Sunday raising the number of fatalities to six, an official said.

Johnny Yu, director of the Manila Disaster Risk and Reduction Management (MDRRMO), confirmed in a text message the death of Jenifer Figueroa, who died at about 2 a.m. Wednesday.

On Sunday morning, fire struck the Manila Pavilion Hotel and Casino along UN Avenue in Ermita, Manila. It was declared fire out on Monday at 10:56 a.m. /cbb
