Motorcycle rider dies in road accident in Quezon
LUCENA CITY – A helmet-less motorcycle rider died in a road accident in San Antonio town in Quezon province Sunday night, police reported Monday.
The victim, Ryan Latiza Diola, 31, was traveling along the national road when he accidentally hit a ten-wheeler truck running from the opposite direction in Barangay (village) Loob around 11:15 p.m., a
report from Quezon police office said.
The victim sustained serious injuries on his head and different parts of the body. He died while being taken to Malaluan Hospital in nearby Rosario town in Batangas province.
The truck driver, Dante Blando, was under the custody of the San Antonio police station. /je
