Fire hits Manila Pavilion
A fire broke out Sunday morning at a hotel in Manila, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.
As of posting, BFP Fire Officer 3 Rowena Calleja confirmed that the blaze was destroying the Manila Pavilion hotel along United Nations Avenue in Ermita.
Calleja said that the fire started at about 9:30 a.m. and reached the 5th alarm at 10:09 a.m.
The BFP raised the alarm to Task Force Bravo at 11:30 a.m.
In a report by Radyo Inqurier 990AM, BFP Chief Inspector Crossid Cante said the fire started at the second floor of the hotel.
