3 alleged ‘shabu’ peddlers nabbed in Quezon buy-bust

LUCENA CITY–Three alleged crystal meth (shabu) street-level pushers were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Sariaya town in Quezon province on Wednesday.

Arrested were Jomar Cosico, 29; Arnelson Morado, 37; and Jeffrey Atienza, 22, Quezon police chief Senior Supt. Rhoderick Armamento said in a report on Thursday.

The suspects yielded three sachets of shabu containing 1.55 grams worth P10,075 in the street market.

Atienza tried to resist arrest and run away from the police officers but an operative gave chase and finally collared the suspect.

The suspects were detained at the Sariaya police jail.
