5 drug pushers nabbed in Legazpi City buy-bust operations
LEGAZPI CITY – Five suspected illegal drug pushers operating in this city were arrested in separate buy-bust operations on Tuesday.
Christian Frivaldo, director of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Bicol, said PDEA agents armed with a search warrant, arrested Salvacion Ballarbare in her residence at Barangay 28 (Victory Village), and seized from her 60 grams of suspected “shabu” with an estimated street value of P360,000.
While conducting the search, PDEA agents also arrested Vicky Guzman (also known as Rhea), who also had illegal drugs in her possession. Guzman is from Caloocan City.
Frivaldo said Ballarbare, sister of Barangay Captain Antonio Loveriza, was a high-value target included in their agency’s drug watch list.
Ballarbare and Guzman were placed under custody at the PDEA detention facility.
Joint operatives of the PDEA and the Legazpi City police also arrested Sharlon Floranda of Barangay 17; John Bolivar of Barangay 1; and Edgar Sarabia of Barangay 24.
