MANILA, Philippines – The electoral sabotage case against former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and at least four other persons was raffled off Friday to Branch 112 of the Pasay City regional trial court, a court official said.
Assistant clerk of court Arlene Alday said representatives of the joint Commission on Elections and Department of Justice panel that conducted a preliminary investigation into the allegations filed the complaint and voluminous attachments at 11:22 a.m.
After the formal filing of the complaint, court staff raffled off the case electronically, a standard procedure, said Alday.
