Sinulog Festival kickoff

The much-awaited festival in Cebu City, Cebu province, in honor of Sto. Niño opens with a Mass, trade fair and a launching parade from Basilica Minore del Sto. Niño to Cebu City Sports Center. Sinulog is a dance ritual that resembles a current, or flowing water.

Coconut Festival

A weeklong celebration in San Pablo City, Laguna province, that pays homage to the city’s patron St. Paul the First Hermit and showcases its main agricultural product, coconut. Activities include a beauty pageant, a float parade and streetdancing competition.
