1. ‘Savage Girl’ Falls : With more than 716,404 page views and 822,000 shares, this Savage Girl story truly hit the top spot of this year’s list. Liezyl Margallo, 23, was arrested in Cebu last Jan. 25 after she was tagged as an alleged child trafficker. Margallo had been issued 16 warrants of arrest for allegedly forcing children to perform sexual acts, torturing them, and killing one of her victims as she recorded it.

6. Allan K asks netizen to ‘pray for wisdom’ after ‘live in’ accusations on Alden Richards, Patricia Tumulak : Just like any co-star, Allan K defended his Kapuso Stars Alden Richard and Patricia Tumulak after being accused of living together in August. The comedian actor nevertheless replied calmly and asked the netizens to “pray for wisdom” due to the false accusations against Richard and Tumulak. 181,019 page views

7. The Fall of a ‘Big Time’ Drug Lord : ‘Big Time’ drug lord Epifania Alvizo and alliance Ronan Librando were finally arrested last July 4 by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Central Visayas after three months of surveillance and several attempts. Librando was the first to get arrested which was followed by Alvizo an hour and a half later. Recovered from the suspects were four bank books amounting to more than millions of pesos. 171,814 views

8. WBO says it will re-score Pacquiao-Horn fight; result stands :  When boxing champion Manny Pacquiao lost in one of his fights last July 2, the country questioned the scoring of the judges. The WBO responded to the reaction of the Filipinos and said that it would recount the scoring. After the recount, the WBO affirmed Horn’s victory in the boxing match. Still, Filipinos got furious as they believed that Pacquiao was scored “unfairly.” 164,144 views
