3 men jailed for rape of boy in Bohol

TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol—Three men have been detained to face charges for allegedly raping a 10-year-old boy.

The Bohol Police Provincial Office said the Loon Police Station arrested on Thursdaymorning the suspects identified as Joshua Bitancor, Jan Marnel Bantolinao and Dominic Mejorada, all residents of Loon town.

They were arrested at their respective houses on Thursday morning on the strength of an  arrest warrant issued by Judge Leo Lison of the Regional Trial Court 3 in Tagbilaran City.

No details were given by the police how the rape happened except that the incident took place last May in Loon.

Loon police said the suspects were detained at their lock-up jail. The bond of P120,000 each was set for their temporary liberty. #
