DID YOU KNOW: Pact of Biak-na-Bato
On Dec. 14, 1897, the Pact of Biak-na-Bato was signed by the Spanish government and Philippine revolutionaries. The pact temporarily halted hostilities and promised certain reforms, including representation in the Spanish court, the relief of the friars and payment of P800,000 should Gen.
