Senators ratify P3.7-T national budget for 2018

Just days before they go on a monthlong break this week, senators ratified on Tuesday the proposed P3.7 trillion national budget for 2018.


While there were some questions raised over the approved bicameral conference committee report on the budget, no senators present on the floor objected when a motion was made to ratify the budget.

The budget bill must be ratified by the Senate and the House of Representatives before it is transmitted to President Rodrigo Duterte  for signature.
