House ratifies P3.7-T budget for 2018
The House of Representatives on Tuesday night ratified the proposed P3.7-trillion national budget for 2018.
The proposed General Appropriations Act (GAA) for 2018 was ratified on the same day the congressional bicameral conference committee signed the report on the reconciled version of the national budget.
The House ratification signals the transmission of the budget to President Duterte for signing on Dec. 19.
“President Rodrigo Duterte can proudly affix his signature to this measure on December 19 following its ratification,” Davao City Rep. Karlo Alexei Nograles, chairman of the House ways and means committee, in a statement.
