The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has stopped the operation of another Transportation Network Company’s operation on Monday.

“Please be informed that LibreTaxi, which is considered as another form of Transportation Network Company (TNC) has not coordinated with the LTFRB, and as such, cannot operate,” the transport agency said in a statement.

“LTFRB strongly warns LibreTaxi to stop all bookings made with this type of application/plaform as those that are operating are considered colorum,” the statement added.

If not complied, LTFRB said that it would take legal actions not only against LibreTaxi but to other parties involved.
