DID YOU KNOW: At least 7,000 HIV cases recorded

From January to August, there were 7,363 new human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) cases recorded nationwide, according to the Department of Health.

During the same period, there were 334 deaths, 118 of these reported between July and August. —Marielle Medina
