DID YOU KNOW: Hotels and motels operating in the country

There were a total of 2,276 hotels and motels operating in the country in 2015, according to data from the Philippine Statistics Authority. Resort hotels numbered 984 while condotels totaled 49. The same data showed that hotel and motels employed a total of 62,392 workers that year. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
