In another match, Edjede Kazuma of Tokyo, Japan overwhelmed JR dela Pena of Talamban in their 58kg division showdown.
Juren Muana of Bacolod City beat Allan Refuela of the Southwestern University (SWU) in their 56kg duel.
Mardy Muana handed SWU its second straight loss after he defeated Kenan Villaflor in the 54kg division bout.
Dann Lou Codilla of UV won over Reoxyl Tabogon of the Abellana National School (ANS).
