Tac Pro rules Lapu shootfest

TEAM TAC PRO, composed of multi-awarded International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) shooters, dominated the two-day shooting tournament of the Datu Lapu-Lapu Lodge No:347 Charity Shootfest over the weekend at the NS Outdoor Firing Range in barangay Tawason, Mandaue City.

Leading the list of winners of the multi-awarded team was Nelson Aldrich Esguerra, who ruled the sharp shooter class. He was also the SSP division overall champion.

Tessie Vidal, meanwhile, conquered the ladies division while Franz and Jiovanni Pacaldo topped the Juniors division and ESP Safety Offices class, respectively.

Tessie’s husband, Reynan, also showed his shooting prowess as he lorded the CDP-MM division. Rounding off Tac-Pro’s dominance in the competition was Deo Clarin, who finished first runner-up in the CDP lawman division.

Around a hundred lawmen and practical shooters took part in this annual shooting tournament.  CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
