NBI ordered to probe slay of ex-Mandaluyong prosecutor, village chair
Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II has ordered the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to conduct an investigation on the death of former Mandaluyong prosecutor Pablito Gahol.
Gahol, who also served as chairman of Barangay Mauway in Mandaluyong, was shot to death over the weekend by unidentified gunmen on motorcycle in front of Mataas na Paaralan ng Neptali Gonzales along Nuebe de Pebrero St. in Barangay Mauway.

In a Department Order issued Monday, Aguirre told the NBI to conduct an investigation and case build-up.
“The NBI is hereby directed and granted authority to conduct investigation and case build-up over the killing of former City Prosecutor Pablito A. Gahol and if evidence so warrants, to file appropriate charges thereon,” Aguirre said in his order. JE
