Metro Manila warned of heavy rain Tuesday morning

Heavy rain is forecast over Metro Manila in the next three hours due to the southwest monsoon, the state weather bureau said Tuesday at 8 a.m.

Flooding in low lying area is likely, the yellow alert issued by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

Heavy rain with lightning and strong winds due to thunderstorms is also expected over Bulacan and Quezon within the next three hours.

Zambales, Bataan, Rizal, Cavite, Batangas and Laguna may also continue to experience the same weather conditions in the next two hours.

Light to moderate rain is expected over Tarlac, Pampanga and Nueva Ecija in the next three hours, Pagasa said. CBB
