Fugitive caught in Pangasinan

DAGUPAN CITY  (Updated) — An escaped inmate of the Pangasinan provincial jail in Lingayen town was caught at his home in Binmaley town on Sunday.

Gender Arzadon was one of two inmates who ran off after taking out the trash to a waiting garbage truck at 9:50 a.m. on Aug. 12 along with 4 other detainees. The other inmate, Dennis Buen, was apprehended at the public market on the same day.

Jail personnel and the local police found Arzadon at home in Mabini street in Barangay Poblacion at 1 a.m. and was brought back to the provincial jail.

Arzadon and Buen are being tried separately for drug charges. JE
