Engineer nabbed in Occidental Mindoro drug buy-bust

CITY OF CALAPAN – A civil engineer was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation Thursday morning in the town of Mamburao in Occidental Mindoro province.

A report from the Mamburao police said Patrick Steven Dela Fuente, 28, was arrested by a team of cops and agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) led by Senior Inspector Ronnie De Villa, deputy chief of the Mamburao police, after he sold a sachet of suspected “shabu” (methamphetamine hydrochloride) to undercover lawmen at around 11 a.m. in Sitio (sub-village) Boning, Barangay (village) 9.


The suspect, a resident of Barangay Bubog in San Jose town, also in Occidental Mindoro, and an employee at an engineering and construction company, was named on the local PDEA drug watchlist.  SFM
