Police arrest big-time drug pusher
A LEVEL 2 drug pusher was arrested by the Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB) of the Cebu Provincial Police Office last Sunday evening in barangay Poblacion, Tabogon town, north Cebu.
Reynaldo Arsenal, 40, of San Remegio town, north Cebu, is now detained at the Cebu Provincial Police office and pending the filing of appropriate charges today.
PO3 Reynaldo Solante said a buy-bust operation in San Remegio town was conducted on Arcenal.
During the operation, Arsenal sensed the presence of backup policemen, which prompted him to elude arrest on board his red Honda civic (ZDR-737).
A chase ensued until the Tabogon police station where Arsenal reported to the police there that he was strafed.
But PIB personnel arrived and arrested the suspect.
Police seized a pack of suspected shabu estimated worth P20,000; a pair of scissors, two cellular phones, and other drug paraphernalia from Arsenal’s car.
They also recovered a plane ticket of the suspect.
Solante said Arcenal distributed shabu nationwide. He can dispose P300,000 woth of shabu weekly.
“Siya mismo ang mangunay pag-adto sa Manila para mangumpra ug shabu (He goes to Manila himself to buy shabu that he repacks),” PO3 Solante said.
