DAGUPAN CITY — A farmer was shot and killed on Wednesday dawn in Asingan town in Pangasinan province, police said.

Alexis Andrada, 23, was sleeping in bed when he was shot at 1:30 a.m. by two men who broke into his house in Bantog village.

The police have not yet established why he was targeted. But Andrada was described by cops as a “newly identified drug pusher.”

Investigators found in the crime scene six empty shells, one spent bullet and a bullet fragment, all fired from a .45 caliber pistol. CBB
