LPA exits PH, improved weather seen

Improved weather is expected in the country as the low pressure area near Mindanao left the Philippine area of responsibility on Thursday afternoon, the state weather bureau said.

The LPA was last spotted 795 kilometers east of Guiuan in Eastern Samar, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

The northeast monsoon will continue to prevail over northern and Central Luzon.

“Cloudy skies with light rains are expected over Cagayan Valley region and the province of Aurora,” Pagasa said.
