Tropical depression ’Bising’ slows down
Tropical depression “Bising” slightly slowed down as it moved northwestward on Saturday, the state weather bureau said.
In its weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that Bising was moving at 11 kilometers per hour (kph), down from 13 kph.
It has maximum winds of 45 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 55 kph.
Bising was last spotted 515 kilometers (km) East of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur.
Areas within the 300-km diameter of Bising can expect moderate to occasionally heavy rains, but not cyclone warning signal has been raised.
