MANILA, Philippines – A man recently released from a mental facility allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in Quezon City Monday, a 990AM report said.
The report said that Eduardo Abrera, 46, was found hanging from a Guyabano (Soursop) tree in Barangay Kaingin, Quezon City.
He used nylon rope and electrical tape to commit suicide, the report said.
In an interview with 990AM, the victim’s sister Erlinda said that Abrera was depressed and that it was his third attempt to kill himself since he got back from the Mandaluyong Mental Hospital.
She said that her brother asked for shots but could not wait to be brought back to the mental facility later this week. Karen Boncocan, Inquirer.net
