Depressed man hangs self in QC

MANILA, Philippines – A man recently released from a mental facility allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in Quezon City Monday, a 990AM report said.

The report said that Eduardo Abrera, 46, was found hanging from a Guyabano (Soursop) tree in Barangay Kaingin, Quezon City.

He used nylon rope and electrical tape to commit suicide, the report said.

In an interview with 990AM, the victim’s sister Erlinda said that Abrera was depressed and that it was his third attempt to kill himself since he got back from the Mandaluyong Mental Hospital.
