The beauty queen will be donating in cash and in kind to Caritas Manila for its celebrity bazaar, a fundraising activity for its 5,000 scholars.

During the turnover, Tagle blessed the towering Wurtzbach, who wore a flowing white and blue gown.

The prelate and the reigning Miss Universe also conversed in an hour-long closed-door meeting, during which Tagle gave her a rosary from Pope Francis.

The celebrity bazaar of preloved items will feature donations from celebrities like Kris Aquino, Vice Ganda, Derek Ramsay, Dr. Vicki Belo, her partner Hayden Kho and their daughter Scarlet Snow Belo, Tim Yap, Anne Curtis, Sarah Geronimo, among others.

Caritas Manila President Fr. Anton Pascual said the bazaar will be held from December 13 to 14 at Glorietta 5 Atrium in Makati City, during which they hope to raise P2 million. RAM/rga
