Former Interior Secretary Mar Roxas joins the thousands of protesters in a rally against the burial of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.
Wearing a black shirt, Roxas by his lonesome went to the rally on Wednesday at the People Power Monument along Edsa White Plains Avenue in Quezon City.
Representatives from different sectors, including students, priests, nuns, were present at the anti-Marcos rally.
When Roxas arrived, a protester from the crowd was heard saying: “Kung siya naging Presidente, wala sana tayo dito (If he were President, we wouldn’t be here).”
Roxas ran against then Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte during the presidential elections last May.
The program is still ongoing.
