SUBIC, Zambales—A four-year-old girl was hurt in the crossfire between the police and a suspected drug dealer during a buy-bust operation here on Thursday night.

The suspect Abdul Ignuhali tried to shoot his client after sensing he was an undercover agent but the bullet struck his neighbor’s daughter Sherida Talib instead, said Chief Insp. Leonardo Madrid, commander of Subic police station.

Talib is being treated for a gunshot wound in the right leg.
