As of 5 on Monday afternoon, the crowd at the Manila North Cemetery was estimated at 250,000 based on the city police data.
The number of visitors is less compared to last year, the police said.
Thousands of Filipinos filled grave sites across the country to honor their dead since Sunday, two days ahead of All Saints’ Day, which falls on Tuesday.
Even with Monday’s hot weather, only two people were given medical assistance. They were two boys aged two and eight, the police data said. They both fainted because of the heat.

On Sunday afternoon, the Manila police’s estimate of the crowd was around 100,000 in the area.
