1 drowns, 2 still missing in Morong, Bataan

MORONG, Bataan — One man drowned while two others were reported missing on Sunday afternoon (Oct. 23) during a gathering at a beach in Barangay (village) Sabang.
Blue Maverick Guevarra, of Barangay Calaguiman in Samal town, was declared dead when brought to a local hospital.

His companions Joshua Magpok and Jayjay Guinto, also of Samal, have not been recovered at press time.
They were part of a group of 10 people who held a picnic at the beach. Some were reportedly intoxicated. Rescue teams have been deployed to search for the two missing men. SFM/rga
