Wesleyan tops CPA exams; UP scores 100% pass rate

A total of 5,249 out of 14,390 examinees passed the recent licensure examination for certified public accountants (CPA), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Thursday.
The University of the Philippines-Diliman emerged as top-performing school with a perfect passing rate.
Also in the roster of top-performing schools were University of Santo Tomas (90.72 percent), De La Salle University (88.66 percent), Ateneo de Zamboanga (87.14 percent), Bicol University-Daraga (84.93 percent), and Far Eastern University (82.35 percent).
The PRC requires at least 50 examinees and at least 80-percent passing rate for a school to be declared as top-performing.

The exam was administered by the Board of Accountancy in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena and Tacloban this October. YG
